We are excited to partner with Johnston Basketball Club on this great event and excited to see some great games. We had 165+ teams join us in 2025 as we are excited to crown champions and offer a great weekend of basketball in 2026.

Roster Restrictions:

-Players are allowed to play on multiple teams “AS LONG AS IT IS IN A DIFFERENT DIVISIONS.” For example if there is a 6th Gold and 6th Purple division a player can play on multiple teams in each division. If there is just one division then a player MUST play on 1 team in that grade division. A player may also “PLAY UP” a grade, but may not “PLAY DOWN” a grade.

Live Stream:

We have partnered with “Be the Beast” Live streaming this year and all games played at “515 Fieldhouse Courts” and “Kingdom Courts will be live streamed each weekend for parents or families members that can not attend. Please note that there is NO live stream at The Hawk Nest, Timber Ridge Elementary, and Summit Middle School. There is a cost associated with the Live Stream and that information can be found here:

Hotel Accommodations:

Iowa Gym Rats Basketball has a “Stay to Play” policy for all tournaments.

“Stay to Play” – This requires all out of town teams and participants in need of hotel accommodations must make their reservations through TBD Travel Services to ensure placement in the tournament. 

* It is required that teams book all of their housing through this service to ensure placement in this tournament. By not using this service, your team may incur a penalty or disqualification. No refunds will be given.

* This is a complimentary service and makes securing your rooms quick and easy

We are looking forward to our 3rd year of GRBA Boys School Team State tournament. This event is for 3rd-8th Grade Boys teams who want to compete against other school ball teams. We hosted 40+ teams in 2025.

Iowa Gym Rats along with Attack Tournaments is excited to host “THE” State Tournament in 2026. Iowa Gym Rats will be hosting the Girls side of the event in Des Moines, IA and Attack Tournaments will be hosting the boys side of the event in Waukee, IA.

We are excited to crown another round of deserving State Champions in 2026.
