Iowa Gym Rats is excited to host our 4th year of the Gym Rats Fall League with 100+ players. We lo0k forward to a competitive but fun Fall League ahead for the next 4 Sundays.

Point System & Standings:

We are excited to introduce a point system in 2025!

A Team Win=1 Point for an Individual

  • Players with the highest point totals by Week 4 will play in the Championship Bracket in Week 4.
  • Players Individual records will be recorded and standings will be visible along with Team records and standings

Boys Example: Player A is apart of a team that goes 2-0 in Week 1 they will receive 2 Points overall. In Week 2 Player A is on a different team with different players and ends the week with a 1-1 record, Player A will then receive 1 Point overall. At the end of Week 3 all the players points will be looked at and teams will be created accordingly and put in a Gold, Silver, & Bronze Championship. Awards will be given to the Gold Champion only. 

Girls Week 4: For Girls Divisions, Week 4 will consist of the same bracket setup as Weeks 1-3, but at the end of Week 4 Overall Individual Points will be calculated and awards will be given to the top 7 players.

2025 Schedule Format:

You will notice on the schedule that there are no pool games, but there are Brackets or 3 Team Round Robin schedules. This will be the setup every week. Every Sunday there will be 3 Champions of the Week for the Boys division and there will be 1 Champion for the Girls division. Additional Event Details:

  • Teams will drafted by Iowa Gym Rats Staff
  • Each team will get 2 games per date
  • Each player will receive a reversible jersey for the duration of the league
  • Games will have officials and a scorekeepers
  • Games will be (2) 20 minute continuous clock halves

Gym Rats Winter League 2025 (5V5 3rd-5th Girls, 2nd-5th Boys)

We are excited to introduce a new, and improved Gym Rats Winter League 2025. In 2025 we will be offering 4V4 divisions for both Boys (K-1st) & Girls (K-2nd). We will also be offering 5V5 divisions for both Boys (2nd-5th) & Girls (3rd-5th). We believe this will improve gameplay, and also allow the players and teams to grow. These age divisions are for all levels of teams. THIS IS NOT A HIGH LEVEL LEAGUE. We are also excited to announce that this year’s Winter League will not have spectator admission fees. We are very excited for this upcoming Winter League and the changes that have been made and we look forward to helping provide a safe environment for teams to grow and learn!

WINTER LEAGUE – SPECIAL RULES FOR K-3RD BOYS AND GIRLS

Admission: 

 NO ADMISSION WILL BE CHARGED FOR SPECTATORS

League Details:

-Games WILL be played on Saturday, primarily Saturday morning.

-Teams will play every week unless requested differently. Off weekends will not be rescheduled. 

-Teams will play 1 game per date for all but 1 select week when teams will play 2 games. This will allow teams to play all other teams in their respective divisions.

-Please contact director if you want to participate in league but have a team that may need special schedule. Certain situations may be accommodated but not guaranteed.

-7 game guarantee. Every team will play 1 games per weekend, with the exception of 1 week where teams will play 2 games. Champions will be crowned after the last week of play, and will go to the team who performed the best throughout the 7 games. Teams will play all other opponents in their division.

-2 certified officials

-Team must provide own uniforms

-Daily Admission will not be charged for spectators
