GYM RATS FALL LEAGUE 2026

We are excited to host our 5th Annual “Individual” Fall League. Our Individual fall league is designed for players to sign up individually as we will place each player on a team each weekend. We look forward to competitive games and a fun environment. This is a great way to stay in games shape and get ready for the upcoming season.

Daily Admission:

Adults – $12

K-12 Students and Seniors (65+) – $5

Format:

  • 2 games each Sunday
  • 8 game guarantee over the 4 Sunday nights
  • Players are divided onto teams of 7-9 players
  • Coaches are provided for each team and will coach and sub appropriately
  • Jerseys are provided to each player, but will be returned at the end of the league.

G.O.A.T (Girls ONLY Allowed Tournament) 2026

Welcome to the 6th annual G.O.A.T (Girls ONLY Allowed Tournament). Iowa Gym Rats wants to provide a 1st class event that will “Focus ONLY on the Girls”. Together we look forward to an event that is focused on making the game of basketball a learning and fun environment. We are excited to bring this event to the Des Moines Metro.

We have partnered with “Be the Beast” Live streaming this year and all games played at “515 Fieldhouse Courts”, “Kingdom Courts, and “WDM Rec Plex” will be live streamed each weekend for parents or families members that can not attend. There is a cost associated with the Live Stream and that information can be found here:

2 or more teams – $200 per team (USE CODE: MULTI when you are registering on tourney machine)

Iowa Gym Rats Basketball has a “Stay to Play” policy for all tournaments.

“Stay to Play” – This requires all out of town teams and participants in need of hotel accommodations must make their reservations through TBD Travel Services to ensure placement in the tournament. 

* It is required that teams book all of their housing through this service to ensure placement in this tournament. By not using this service, your team may incur a penalty or disqualification. No refunds will be given.

* This is a complimentary service and makes securing your rooms quick and easy
with 24 hour online access to hotel availability.

We are excited to continue the Snowball Shootout again in 2027. We look forward to having teams from around the state join us for another year of great competition.

-Warm Up Basketballs:
WE WILL BE PROVIDING WARM UP BASKETBALLS AT THE IYAF SPORTS COMPLEX, AS WELL AS GAME BALLS! (PLEASE INFORM PLAYERS AND PARENTS TO NOT BRING THEIR BASKETBALLS TO THESE GYMS). Warm up basketballs & game balls will be needed at 515 Fieldhouse as they are NOT provided at this facility.

Welcome to the Waukee Jam Classic. Waukee Jam and Iowa Gym Rats have combined resources to bring a great event to the Des Moines Metro. This should be another fun event for everyone to improve while playing against teams of like competition. We are excited to welcome 140+ teams to the Des Moines Metro in 2027 as we look forward to another great event.

-NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS PERMITTED INSIDE EACH FACILITY

-CONCESSIONS STAND ON SITE AT ALL FACILITIES UNLESS NOTED

Roster Restrictions:

-Players are allowed to play on multiple teams “AS LONG AS IT IS IN A DIFFERENT DIVISIONS.” For example if there is a 8th Blue and 8th Orange division a player can play on multiple teams in each division. If there is just one division then a player MUST play on 1 team in that grade division. A player may also “PLAY UP” a grade, but may not “PLAY DOWN” a grade.
