Iowa Gym Rats is excited to host our 9th year of the Gym Rats High School Fall League. We are excited to host 18 teams total and many great games throughout the month of October.

League Dates/Schedule:

  • Week #1 – October 5th, 2025 – Schedule for WEEK 1 was POSTED at 5:30 PM 9/29
  • Week #2 – October 12th, 2025 – WEEK 2 schedule will be posted by 10:00 PM 10/6.
  • Week #3 – October 19th, 2025 – WEEK 3 schedule will be posted by 10:00 PM 10/13.
  • Week #4 – October 26th, 2025 – WEEK 4 schedule will be posted by 10:00 PM 10/20.

Event Details:

  • Teams will be scheduled to play 8 games
  • Teams will be required to provide a coach and jerseys
  • Boys Teams
  • League Dates – October 5th, October 12th, October 19th and October 26th.
  • Games will start in the afternoon on each of these dates. 
  • Admission will be charged.

Iowa Gym Rats 1st ever 3v3 event in October. This will be a 1 day event on Saturday only. 

Event:

Fall Cup 3V3—Boys and Girls 

When:

October 18th, 2025

Who:

  • 1st–12th Grade Boys 
  • 2nd–12th Grade Girls

Entry Fee: 

1 team – $150
2 or more teams – $125 per team (USE CODE: MULTI when you are registering on tourney machine)

Format:

  • 3 game guarantee, some teams will get 4

We have partnered with “Be the Beast” Live streaming this year and all games played at “515 Fieldhouse Courts”, “Kingdom Courts, and “WDM Rec Plex” will be live streamed each weekend for parents or families members that can not attend. Iowa Gym Rats Basketball has a “Stay to Play” policy for all tournaments.

“Stay to Play” – This requires all out of town teams and participants in need of hotel accommodations must make their reservations through TBD Travel Services to ensure placement in the tournament. 

* It is required that teams book all of their housing through this service to ensure placement in this tournament. By not using this service, your team may incur a penalty or disqualification. No refunds will be given.

We are excited to introduce a new, and improved Gym Rats Winter League 2025. In 2025 we will be offering 4V4 divisions for both Boys (K-1st) & Girls (K-2nd). We believe this will improve gameplay, and also allow the players and teams to grow. These age divisions are for all levels of teams. THIS IS NOT A HIGH LEVEL LEAGUE. We are also excited to announce that this year’s Winter League will not have spectator admission fees. We are very excited for this upcoming Winter League and the changes that have been made and we look forward to helping provide a safe environment for teams to grow and learn!

-Teams will play every week unless requested differently. Off weekends will not be rescheduled. 

-Teams will play 1 game per date for all but 1 select week when teams will play 2 games. This will allow teams to play all other teams in their respective divisions.

-Please contact director if you want to participate in league but have a team that may need special schedule. Certain situations may be accommodated but not guaranteed.

-7 game guarantee. Every team will play 1 games per weekend, with the exception of 1 week where teams will play 2 games. Champions will be crowned after the last week of play, and will go to the team who performed the best throughout the 7 games. Teams will play all other opponents in their division.

-2 certified officials

-Team must provide own uniforms

-Daily Admission will not be charged for spectators

Iowa Gym Rats and 515 Hoops have once again combined to make this great event. We hosted 200+ teams from around the Midwest in 2024. 2025 will be another year of great competition!
